Skiing Benefits

SASCPass

Members 60+ (by the end of the current ski season) may purchase our optional SASCPass, which offers unlimited skiing at the following participating hills: Sugarloaf Park, Poley Mountain, Ben Eoin, Cape Smokey, Martock, Wentworth, and Mark Arendz Provincial Ski Park at Brookvale in PEI.

Lift Ticket Discounts

SASCPass holders are offered the Nomad rate (currently 20% discount) at the non-participating hills Crabbe Mountain, Mont Farlagne, and other hills in the Maritimes and Newfoundland. Additionally, SASC Members receive a 15% discount on lift tickets at Mont Comi PQ, and 20% at Val d’Irene PQ.

Ski Lessons

For the 2024 – 25 Ski Season, free weekly ski lessons are offered to our members at both Ski Martock, and Poley Mountain on Wednesdays mornings at 11 until Noon (Starting January 8th). Members should be there a few minutes early. Where do you meet… see below

  • Ski Martock… meet on the deck under the “Ski School” sign.
  • Poley Mountain… meet in front of the Lodge.

Ski Trips

Each year the club organizes two week-long trips, usually to Quebec and New England. These usually comprise 4 or 5 days of skiing, 5 nights ski-in- ski-out accommodations and meals. The Club also organizes additional short trips to the the Gaspe and other Atlantic ski areas. See the Trips Page for this year’s trips.

You can also book online using promo code SKI, however members can also try the promo code CANADA to compare which is the best discounted rate at the time of booking as the rates do fluctuate! Booking outside of ski season? Members can always us the promo code Canada to get the Canadian rate which they currently have set at 15%.
