Thanks to the pioneering work by Kell Antoft and the support of the Nova Scotia Ski Association and the Atlantic Area Ski Hill Operators Association members of the Ski Atlantic Seniors Club can ski anywhere, anytime at seven participating hills in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. This unique arrangement is a great way for members to enjoy the camaraderie of skiers from other areas in the Atlantic region.
Skiing is indeed a sport to be enjoyed by young and old alike. The club promotes both the physical and the social aspects of skiing and in the early years special days were held at the participating hills so all members could get together for what was then called a Fun Day. As the membership of the Club grew the these special days became important annual events at every hill. In 2005 they became Kell Antoft Days in honor of our founder. A day of skiing and instruction is followed by a social gathering and good food.
Information related to the dates and locations of the Kell Antoft days is published in the Fall issue of Winter Words. The Directors at the hills can also provide more information..
